EvoVid is an HTML5 video sharing site that supports (exclusively) Ogg Vorbis and WebM. The site also supports the HTML 5 "save as" feature so that people can download videos from the site.

BOSTON, Massachusetts, USA -- Friday, February 14th, 2014 -- The Free Software Foundation (FSF) today announced open registration for a seminar on GPL Enforcement and Legal Ethics, to be held Monday, March 24th, 2014, at Suffolk University Law School. The half-day seminar will provide an introduction to the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL), a detailed look at how it can and has been enforced, and a session on professional ethics considerations for lawyers working with clients involved in free software.

BOSTON, Massachusetts, USA -- Thursday, September 29, 2011 -- The Free Software Foundation (FSF) today announced the re-launch of its Free Software Directory at directory.fsf.org. The Directory lists over 6,500 programs that are free for any computer user to download, run, and share. It was first launched nearly a decade ago, but the new version brings a host of new features designed to make it a more useful and current resource for users, developers, advocates, and researchers.

News Item Free Software Foundation submits comment to Copyright Office with over 1200 co-signers calling for end to DMCA anti-circumvention provisions

BOSTON, Massachusetts, USA -- Tuesday, March 8th, 2016 -- On March 3rd, 2016, the Free Software Foundation (FSF) submitted a comment along with over 1200 co-signers to the U.S. Copyright Office in response to its *Section 1201 Study: Notice and Request for Public Comment* in regards to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act's (DMCA) anti-circumvention provisions. These comments were submitted in person by FSF campaigns manager Zak Rogoff, as the Copyright Office refused to offer a means of electronic submission that did not require the use of proprietary JavaScript.
