For the website Directlyrics – visited daily by over 700k music fans – we're looking for an experienced full-time lead Javascript / Node.js Developer.

The job consists of leading a small team on location to develop and launch our new music platform, part of Directlyrics. We've build and initial proof of concept #hack and already see promising user engagement. Our platform is (predominantly) Node.js and we're building out our small team to speed up our development cycle. You would be the person leading our strategy and be responsible to get new features released to the production environment. You would have lots of responsibility to make things work, but also creative freedom to define the path towards a great user product. The work needs a commitment of at least 38 hours/week, commencing as soon as possible.

Perfect Candidate

The perfect candidate for this job has Node.js expertise, loves working with Javascript and handles this and events without too much trouble. You translate functionality to a roadmap, which leads to maintainable code. You are able to lead a team, enjoy working together, always willing to learn and listen, but also teach and delegate.
