US citizens: please write a letter to the US Department of State
saying you want the proposed Hague Convention (about international
recognition of choice-of-court clauses) not to apply to non-negotiated
contracts (such as clickwrap contracts).
For more information about the Hague Treaty, and how it could do harm it were applied to these contracts where one party essentially gives the public no choice, see:

Please send your letter to:
Mr. Jeffrey KovaraAssistant Legal Advisor for Private International Law
U.S. Department of State
2430 E Street, NW
Suite 203, South Building
Washington, DC 20037-2851
Please send a paper letter--they carry more weight than email. Please email a copy of your text to <affect@alawash.org> so that the activists working on the issue know about your letter.
