Get together with the DC free software community and chat about the FSF's work with Zak Rogoff, our campaigns manager. The venue is Busboys and Poets, a great restaurant and cultural landmark. The FSF will provide some beer and some appetizers, with vegan and vegetarian options, and more food and drink will be available from the menu.

This is an informal gathering for anyone interested in spending time with the free software community or learning more about the FSF; you are welcome, whether you are free software noob or hacker extraodinaire.

The closest subway stations to Busboys and Poets are Gallery Place Chinatown on the Green, Yellow, and Red lines and Mt. Vernon Square on the Green and Yellow lines. There's also a Capitol Bikeshare right nearby (extensive list of transportation options). Busboys and Poets is wheelchair accessible, and all people of ages are welcome.

Please note that, in the afternoon on the same day, Zak will be speaking for fifteen minutes in the closing plenary of the CiviCRM User Summit (room number TBA), and we'd love for you to hear him speak.

In summary:

16:45--17:00: Zak's mini-speech at CiviCRM User Summit
18:30--21:30: meetup at Bus Boys and Poets

RSVP: We'd love it if you'd let us know you're coming to the meetup, but you're also welcome to just drop in. Contact us at campaigns@fsf.org to RSVP, or if you have any questions.
