Saturday, September 16th, is Software Freedom Day. We're going to start the celebration on September 14th with an Open House at the Free Software Foundation (FSF) office in Downtown Boston.
Join us on Thursday, September 14th from 17:00 - 20:00 EDT to meet members of your local free software community and the FSF staff.
In addition to the excellent selection of snacks (for which the FSF is known), you can check out our growing collection of RYF-certified devices, and take home something made on our LulzBot 3D printer. Interested in leveling up your email self-defense? This is a great opportunity to get your GPG key signed by other FSF members and free software enthusiasts. (If you're interested in keysigning, please include your fingerprint in the RSVP.)
If you're planning on attending, please RSVP. You're welcome to come even if you don't let us know in advance, but it will help us make sure we have enough snacks and swag. It will also make keysigning easier, if this is something you're interested in.
Hope to see you next week! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us by email or phone. The FSF office is located at:
51 Franklin Street Fifth Floor Boston, MA 02110
The building is wheelchair accessible. For assistance with entering the building, please call the office at: 617-542-5942.
