This is the perfect opportunity to meet other free software supporters, hangout with Free Software Foundation (FSF) staff, swap stories, and discuss free software topics while grazing like a gnu on some snacks. If you support free software and are in the Boston area during this time, you're invited. Feel free to bring friends and family members along. We'll start with a Freedom Trail walk and, once we return, we'll warm up in the office with hot chocolate and snacks.

You don't need to register to the event, but doing so will help us make sure that we'll have enough snacks. Admission is gratis, and donations are welcome and appreciated.
By the way, we'll have a volunteer opportunity at the FSF office earlier the same day. You are welcome to combine both, if you want to get the full experience.
Program:
18:45 - 19:00 (6:45 PM to 7:00 PM) -- Meet at the FSF office
19:00 - 20:00 (7:00 PM to 8:00 PM) -- Freedom Trail walk
We'll walk a small part of the Freedom Trail together. Consider bringing signs and/or GNU beanies to show bystanders that we are free software supporters and what free software means to us!
20:00 - 20:30 (8:00 PM to 8:30 PM) -- Lightning talks and discussion
This is a time for you to bring up a topic, raise a question, or share a story that you always wanted to share with other free software supporters. Everyone present may participate, but nobody is required to (of course). The maximum time given for each presentation or discussion topic is five minutes. You don't need to bring a presentation or anything. This is meant to be a casual exchange and conversation starter rather than a professional talk -- an opportunity to share your own passions, while getting to know one another.
20:30 - 21:00 (8:30 PM to 9:00 PM) -- Time to socialize
We'll provide snacks and some drinks, and there is sure to be great neighbors to talk together!
Don't forget to bring your signs, if you make some, and waaaarm -- perhaps free software-themed -- clothes!
