Give FSF membership as a gift

by Matt Lee Contributions Published on Nov 19, 2007 06:02 PM
You can give someone a gift membership in the Free Software Foundation. This is a great gift for the free software activists in your life, or an informative gift for someone who's just beginning to discover free software!
Give a friend or loved one a gift they can be proud of: support the FSF with a membership in their name!
The dynamic duo!

All you have to do is make a donationof $120 ($60 if the gift recipient is a student) and write us at with:

  • their mailing address
  • their e-mail address

As a member they'll receive an ultra-slim bootable membership card, a e-mail forwarding address, an invitation to the annual membership event, a 20% discount on merchandise, and the FSF bi-annual Bulletin.

All gifts support software freedom and are tax-deductible, and the lucky recipient of a gift membership will be able to take comfort in the knowledge that computer users' rights to use, study, copy, modify, and redistribute modified computer programs are being defended.
