Richard Stallman will be speaking at the Franklin Pierce Law Center, 2 White Street, Concord, NH, 03301 in the Rich Room. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. The times below are for the larger event, "Current Developments in the Open Source and Free Software Movements". Stallman will be speaking in the morning, from 10:00am to 11:15am. Stallman describes his speech as, "People often ask whether the ideals of the Free Software Movement apply to anything other than software. In this talk I will explain how I have extended them to additional kinds of works, and where I think they do not extend."

BU Law School: 765 Commonwealth Avenue Boston, MA The above address is actually a plaza in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Walk through the Plaza (toward the river), going through the archways and down a few steps: the very tall building to the left is the Law Tower, and the law school auditorium is in the attached short building next to it. By MBTA (the "T" subway system): Take the "B" Green Line (towards Boston College) to the BU Central T stop. This lets you off immediately in front of the MLK Jr. Plaza.
