Ruby is a gem of a programming language. Favored by many for it's ease of use and flexibility, Ruby is attracting more and more people to programming. Similar in many ways to Python, Ruby can be used to create a variety of programs, from small scripts to large scale web applications.
While there are many languages to choose from, more and more programmers are choosing Ruby.
