We are looking for an engineer to join Red Hat's Desktop engineering team.

This position will focus on general Desktop development and maintenance tasks. Its responsibilities will be fixing bugs and tracking upstream development on the Desktop in Fedora and RHEL. They will be focused on tackling a wide-range of customer-related desktop issues, and providing high quality support to meet the needs of a growing and varied customer base. It is expected that this person will be able to develop a relationship with the Free Software community during the course of their job.

• Experience with GNU/Linux operating System
• Good knowledge and experience with C
• Experience with GNOME/GTK+ development a plus
• Experience working with the Free Software community a definite plus
