We're seeking someone to provide monitoring and support for both client applications and LiveOps GNU/Linux-based systems, develop and improve our automation and monitoring systems, and participate in 24x7 on-call support for service infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll provide monitoring and support for both client applications and LiveOps GNU/Linux-based systems. You'll also develop and improve our automation and monitoring systems, and participate in 24x7 on-call support for service infrastructure. You will serve as our first line of defense when a problem arises with our network or call center, and you will likely work odd hours (including some overnights).

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 - 3 years in a GNU/Linux production environment supporting at least 50 machines
  • Experience using Apache and MySQL in a production environment
  • Solid troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent prioritization skills
  • Experience developing with LDAP, Nagios, Apache, Perl, Sendmail a plus
  • Candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, ability to take ownership, and the ability to identify and solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment. Experience with MySQL database administration/replication is a plus, but not required.
