PHP Programmer
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience working with web related code, concepts and project planning. Many of our larger sites use the Joomla/Drupal framework, so knowledge of Joomla/Drupal is a big plus however not required. Additional programming experience (primarily Perl and ASP.net) is helpful, but not necessary. We are seeking a PHP programmer with a track record of completing projects on time and generally exceeding expectations. However, the web is our medium and significant experience working with XHTML, HTML, Javascript and CSS is a must. In addition, our lead developers collaborate with our Project Management team to build requirements documents, estimates and specifications for client projects.
Currently, we are searching for developers who possess the following attributes:
A passion for coding with proper commenting and free software (LAMP)

Detail oriented (well commented code)
Excellent follow through (i.e. thorough testing of code)

Desired technical skills:
PHP and MySQL experience required (preferably PHP 5 and MySQL 5)
HTML and CSS experience required
Working knowledge and experience with Joomla/Drupal strongly preferred (interest and ability to learn Joomla/Drupal API and participate in the Drupal community required)
Unix, GNU/Linux, Apache, server administration knowledge a plus
Linux / Apache – basic understanding with operating from the command line, at a minimum.
Knowledge of AJAX, Javascript, XML a plus
Experience creating client documentation (requirements, scope of work, etc.)
Job Reponsibilities:
PHP/MySQL coding for custom applications
Development of custom components/modules for Joomla/Drupal CMS
Website architecture planning
Work with Project Manager to create Scope of Work, requirements analysis, etc. for client projects by providing technical details and estimates.
Code review and testing
Installation and configuration of Joomla/Drupal-powered websites
Modify existing components/modules for additional functionality
Work closely with clients throughout development process
Work closely with the rest of our development team
