Web Developer at Community Goals in (preferrably) DC

by Matt Lee Contributions Published on Jun 18, 2008 11:30 AM
This is a 2 month contract position that may be extended if things go well.

I am looking for a Web developer to help with CommunityGoals. This is a great opportunity for a motivated developer to accelerate the development of an innovative and meaningful project.

  • Solid Ruby and Rails skills are essential. As a rule of thumb, I'm looking for a year or more of experience in each. That said, your current skill level and ability to write solid code is way more important than an arbitrary experience requirement.
  • This will be a 2 month contract position that may be extended if things go well. I want to build a talented and reliable team.
  • I strongly prefer candidates in the DC area. The highest bandwidth communication happens in person. I have an office in Dupont Circle with room for you.
  • I strongly prefer 40 hours/week of availability.

If you are interested, you'll find details on how to apply here.

Compensation will be depend on experience, skills, and your ability to deliver high-quality, tested code.
