We are seeking freelance Python developers for a number of ongoing projects.

Threadsafe Labs, Inc., a small Django consultancy in Western Massachusetts, is seeking freelance Python developers for a number of ongoing projects.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of professional experience with Django
  • Ability to write valid (X)HTML / CSS
  • High degree of comfort writing SQL statements (i.e. without an ORM)
  • Experience with jQuery
  • Solid knowledge of HTTP 1.1
  • Understanding of what Big O notation is and why it's important

    • Bonus points if:

  • you've read “Pro Django” (and understood it)
  • your markup and CSS render consistently across real browsers and IE 7+
  • you can write library-independent JavaScript when necessary

    • You can work from anywhere, but preference will be given to developers located +/-1 hour of Eastern Standard Time.
