Customer Support Technician, (Montreal, Canada)
Can you Provide technical support via phone, IM and email? Can you know when to work a problem and when to escalate? Then we're looking for you.
Position immediately available in Montreal. Provide technical support via phone, IM and email for our Free Web software and our hosted software service to end users and administrators. Manage and prioritize support tickets through Web-based tool. Escalate serious issues to developers, documentation, sales staff.
Requirements:
One year of customer support experience
Fluency in English
Familiarity with email and IM
Skilled with using browser-based applications
Able to work from Montreal, QC office
Pluses:
Experience with customer support for computer software, esp. Web software
Fluency in French
Fluency in one of: German, Russian, Mandarin, Hindi
Familiarity with installing and administering Web software
Familiarity with GNU/Linux command line
Familiarity with MySQL or other relational database software
Familiarity with PHP and/or PHP-based programs like WordPress or Drupal
Familiarity with RT ticket-tracking system
Familiarity with bug-reporting systems
