We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who wants to work on a product that makes a difference in patients' lives.

PatientsLikeMe is an exciting company in the social health space that is building a data-oriented patient community.

You will be responsible for both developing and implementing our test strategies. Not only should you enjoy writing and executing test plans, but you should also enjoy working with stakeholders to help design solutions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to support application functionality.
  • Participate in all phases of the project, from design through deploy.
  • Develop test strategies.
  • Write and execute acceptance tests.
  • Create bug reports and oversee resolution.
  • Requirements:

  • 7+ years experience testing web-based applications.
  • Proven experience reporting on quality issues in interaction with development and support.
  • Proven experience designing test strategies and process.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments.
  • Experience with functional and performance test tools and frameworks, including Selenium.
  • Proficiency with cross-platform and cross-browser testing.
  • Excellent verbal and oral communication tools.
  • Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Ruby-based test tools.
  • Experience estimating testing and automation efforts from design sketches.
