Senior Web Developer, (Franklin, TN)

Seeking a team lead for 2 to 3 developers maintaining and extending a custom e-Commerce platform. Work with other Senior developers and departments to spec out and implement new features and functionality. Reports to the Director of Development.

You will:

  • Lead team performing maintenance and extension of custom platform and new projects.
  • Make recommendations regarding emerging trends and opportunities for improvement to the custom platform.
  • Serve as liaison to other departments, making recommendations and estimates of work.
  • Work with Director of Development, scheduling and accepting both broad and narrow tasks and delegating them to team members as appropriate.

    • Required skills:

  • GNU/Linux, Apache (mod_perl), MySQL and Perl.
  • Perl: Catalyst, DBIx::Class, Template Toolkit, Moose.
  • Knowledge of CPAN and the Perl Community.
  • Modern web development techniques: MVC, AJAX, CSS and similar acronyms.
  • 5+ years of web development, experience leading teams and/or projects.
  • Finalist candidate must satisfactorily complete pre-employment background check and drug testing.
