Perl & PHP Software Developer, (Wellington, FL)

AHN is looking for a talented person, with a proven track record, to do perl and php web-based programming and weather systems application development.

This is a part-time, temp to permanent position. There is a possibility that position could become a permanent and full-time position for the right person.

Responsibilities:

You will function as primary weather systems developer, maintain and enhance the existing code base and develop solutions to meet evolving and changing market and client needs.

Requirements:

Experience programing, and developing applications in a GNU/Linux, Apache, and MySQL environment for high traffic, high availability systems.

Experience in PHP.,Perl DBI, XML, XSLT, and other related technologies.

Strong MySQL.

Apache, and GNU/Linux skills.

Experience with version control, Subversion preferred.

Quick learner, self starter, self motivated.

Ability to function in fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Effective communication skills (written and oral), and strong interpersonal skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred.
