Web Associate, (Washington, D.C.)

The Bivings Group is seeking bright, ambitious and hard working Associates to join our team to help develop and manage forward thinking Web programs for our diverse group of clients.
Job Description:
Associate will manage the web programs for multiple clients utilizing Drupal and Wordpress. This involves developing overall online strategies and managing internal programming and design resources to meet client deadlines.
Associate will perform quality control reviews of websites prior to launch.
Associate will help conduct online marketing campaigns. This involves reaching out to relevant audiences via social media and helping to manage online advertising and keyword campaigns.
Associate will contribute to our company blog, The Bivings Report, on a weekly basis.
Associate will aid in The Bivings Group’s new business efforts. This involves proposal writing and routine attendance at various networking events.
Required Skills:
Expertise in Drupal and Wordpress, and an interest in managing the technical details of the site development process. Previous experience writing site specifications documents a plus.
Two years of relevant work experience.
Strong written and oral communications skills and the ability to work as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise and interest in new media (blogging, social networking, Twitter, etc.) and a general knowledge of public affairs and public relations.
Bachelors degree in Communications or a related field.
