We are looking for a full-time PHP and Javascript programmer to work with us as we develop our next web application for businesses.

Nutshell is looking for a full-time PHP and Javascript programmer to work with us as we develop our next web application for businesses. This position will give you the opportunity to sculpt an application from the ground up.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Exceptional object-oriented PHP development skill, with a background in MVC frameworks (like Zend).
  • Strong experience with Javascript frontend development, esp. jQuery.
  • Strong experience in standards-based HTML and CSS development.

    • Preferred candidates will have:

  • An instinct for intuitive UI and information design.
  • Experience building a data-rich web application from scratch.

    • Nutshell is a funded software startup with offices in downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan. We’re currently developing web and mobile software-as-a-service for small- and medium-sized businesses. We plan to make tools that people use, talk about, and get excited over!
