Nominations now closed for the 2005 Award for the Advancement of Free Software

The award committee of Peter H. Salus, Richard Stallman, Alan Cox (winner 2003), Lawrence Lessig (winner 2002), Guido van Rossum (winner 2001), Frederic Couchet, Jonas Oberg, Hong Feng, Bruce Perens, Raju Mathur, Suresh Ramasubramanian, Enrique A. Chaparro, Ian Murdock, and Vernor Vinge will choose the winner.

Thanks to everyone who sent a nomination. Remember that you can still nominate projects for the Free Software Award for Projects of Social Benefit, until 2005 November 30.
