Heroid Shehu is the GNU Generation member of the month!
Heroid has been working on a wide variety of projects. He is one of the four developers on a new GNU/Linux distribution called RMS GNU/Linux — based on Slax, but includes only free software. Another project Heroid has been contributing to (through his GLUG) is FreeKosovaArena, a game that includes some history of his home-country, Kosova.
Heroid speaks Albanian natively, and has been very active on the translation front as well. He has been working on translating the Sugar learning platform into Albanian. He also started a project to allow Apertium to support Albanian. Apertium is a free software tool to translate text between languages.
Bravo to Heroid!
GNU Generation is a project to get young people involved in free software. If you or someone you know may be interested in joining GNU Generation, take a look at the GNU Generation homepage to learn more.
