Give FSF membership as a gift

by Matt Lee last modified December 14, 2009 16:27

You can give someone a gift membership in the Free Software Foundation. This is a great gift for the free software activists in your life, or an informative gift for someone who's just beginning to discover free software!

Give a friend or loved one a gift they can be proud of: support the FSF with a membership in their name!
The dynamic duo!

All you have to do is make a donationof $120 ($60 if the gift recipient is a student) and write us at membership@fsf.org with:

  • their mailing address
  • their e-mail address

As a member they'll receive an ultra-slim bootable membership card, a member.fsf.org e-mail forwarding address, an invitation to the annual membership event, a 20% discount on merchandise, and the FSF bi-annual Bulletin.

All gifts support software freedom and are tax-deductible, and the lucky recipient of a gift membership will be able to take comfort in the knowledge that computer users' rights to use, study, copy, modify, and redistribute modified computer programs are being defended.

The FSF is a charity with a worldwide mission to advance software freedom — learn about our history and work.
