Associate Member Donations
You can donate as an associate member on a monthly or yearly basis. If you are a full-time student, you can donate at a discounted student rate. Donations for monthly and annual memberships can be paid online with a credit card, with optional auto-renewal. For annual memberships, in addition to direct credit card payments online, you can donate with PayPal; or offline via check, money order, or wire transfer.
As your situation changes, you can convert between the payment options below (standard, student, monthly, annual) or cancel your membership donation by contacting the FSF.

ACH billing for electronic bank account deductions is not yet available, but we hope to support this type of payment eventually.

You can sign up for a monthly or annual membership donation with a credit card here Join Now!. All credit card transactions are handled securely online. You can also set up your membership to auto-renew at the end of your current membership period.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB.
Paypal
You can sign up for an annual membership if you use Paypal here Join Now!. We are now set up to accept Paypal for monthly based memberships.
Check and Money Order Payments
If you wish to sign up for an annual membership using a check or money order, please sign up for an account using the Join Now! button and select the appropriate payment method.

- Associate Members are non-voting members of the Free Software Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Boston, MA, USA.
- If you cannot afford to contribute at the Associate Membership rates, you can make a traditional, USA-tax-deductible online donation of a smaller amount instead.
